It is really lovely at the moment here in Copenhagen with the nice weather and blue sky. We reached temperatures near 17 degrees Celsius!! The sun goes down at 6.30pm instead of 3.30pm just over a month ago. People eat out on the terraces, go to parks after work or relax on the benches by the lakes. There's a happy atmosphere in the city.
I went to Bellevue Beach, a 700m sandy beach, which is situated in Klampenborg on the northern outskirt of Copenhagen to take photos just after sunset. There are a couple of characteristic blue-striped wooden lifeguard towers on the beach designed by a Danish architect called Arne Jacobsen. The beach is apparently very busy in the summer but also attracts butt-naked passers-by who like to go skinny dipping.
