Today we went for a bike ride and walk around Fredericksberg where we also had lunch. Although Fredericksberg is surrounded by Copenhagen on all sides and is de facto a district of it, it is formally the fifth biggest town in Denmark.
We had a stroll around Fredericksberg Have (park) where Copenhagen's zoo is also situated. From the park it is possible to see the elephants. The weather was rather dull and a couple of elephants were making the most of living in a small enclosed area and felt it was great entertainment to dance!
On the eastern side of the park in front of Fredericksberg Alle we came across Heron Man who was feeding a dozen herons! Herons move very slowly so they don't scare their prey and it looked like a film in slow motion. A couple of brave herons managed to get most of the food available while the others stepped back too scared to approach the man.
