It would be very difficult not to recognise what city I was visiting a few days ago - the clue is clearly stamped in the photo above - and in the title of course!
With 20,000 visitors per day the Eiffel Tower doesn't need to feature in full in photographs to be clearly recognised. The weather was warm but a little overcast during the first day and a half hence why I decided to shoot in Black & White. I left my settings to B&W the whole time even when it was sunny, except a few times where colour was important or the main subject.
I used to live in Paris but had 'forgotten' how beautiful a city it is! It was my first time back in about 15 years and I fell in love once again. The architecture, the lifestyle, the cobbled streets, the food, the lights, the buzz anytime and any day of the week. We used the Velib to go around the city, and although it is not Copenhagen in terms of bicycle lanes, they were easy to use and gave us some freedom to travel around at our own pace.
