Last Sunday we braved the elements to go and watch some talented divers who jumped from the top of the Opera, over 30m high!! Quite a performance if you want my opinion. We had a picnic and some chilled wine. The photo below shows you what this diver above did in a sequence in front of a crowd happily watching from the Opera.
It is now official: May was colder than normal and June was probably the coldest in 24 years. Indeed during the Cliff Diving, and while happily sipping our white wine, hundreds of people had to suddenly run to find shelter as we started to feel a few thick drops coming from the big black clouds above. Because it has been a daily routine for the last couple of months, when you feel a drop you know you need to hide right away. Needless to say this time wasn't different. Within 2mn perfectly shaped hailstones started to fill our wine glasses. It was gone after 5mn, fortunately, and the divers could resume their performances.
