Spring is very short in Copenhagen. It's like a firework of scents and colours. It explodes everywhere and very quickly then dissipates as quickly as it came.
All trees are now green and lush. It's like a green furry coat covering the city and its many parks.
April was the warmest and sunniest month we've had so far. May is a little more moody. Probably the wettest month, but to be fair we haven't had much rain in the past 7 months. It hasn't rained much, but more than the previous months. We have some amazing days too, although not as hot as April, but warm enough to bathe in the garden and easily sweat. Perfect temperature!. Except for holidays, I don't think I've ever been so tanned in a city I lived in since I lived in Montpelier in the south of France.
Daylight in Copenhagen is quite amazing. At the moment we get one and a half hour more daylight than in the south of France.
Tomorrow the sun will rise at 04.51 and will set at 21.23. Another thing that is quite striking here is that the night doesn't get really dark anymore. It's dark of course but not pitch black.
